The menu is a celebration of classic Indian flavors, thoughtfully crafted to satisfy a wide range of palates. Noteworthy dishes like the Chicken Tikka Masala, tender white meat roasted in an earthen oven and bathed in a creamy tomato sauce, and the fiery Lamb Vindaloo, a spicy masterpiece with Akbare dried red chilies and vinegar, showcase the depth and complexity of Indian culinary traditions. Seafood lovers will delight in options such as the Shrimp Curry, richly infused with tamarind and turmeric, and the Shrimp Tikka Masala, blending a delicate balance of cream and tomato sauce.
Vegetarian offerings are equally impressive, featuring dishes like the Bombay Bhelpuri Vegan, Aloo Gobi, and the creamy Paneer Makhani, which (while some patrons find just a hint sweet) reflects a smooth, indulgent tomato and butter sauce. Customers appreciate Atithi’s flexibility, as demonstrated when a vegetarian friend’s request was creatively met with a Green Chili Paneer option, underscoring the attentive and accommodating nature of the staff.
Starters like the crisp Vegetable Samosa, flavorful Lamb Spring Roll, and Lamb Seekh Kabab set the stage for a rich culinary journey. Complement these with refreshing beverages such as the sweet and cooling Mango Lassi or the zesty Lime Lemonade to cleanse the palate. For dessert, traditional treats like Gulab Jamun—honey-drenched dumplings infused with rosewater—and the delicate Rasmalai, a light cheesecake served in creamy milk with pistachios, round off the meal with a satisfying sweetness that lingers delightfully on the tongue.
Beyond the flavors, what truly sets Atithi Indian Cuisine apart is its warm hospitality and attentive service. Diners frequently praise the friendly staff who make each visit feel personal and welcoming. From complimentary refreshments upon arrival to prompt service, the team ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience. Guests have expressed appreciation for the generous portions, the accommodating approach to dietary restrictions (including gluten-free options such as basmati rice served alongside many dishes), and the relaxed ambiance amplified by traditional décor that invites you to savor every moment.

If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine, this is the place! Super friendly, attentive staff, and the food is delicious! Can’t go wrong here.
Great food, welcoming staff. The food was fresh, tasty. They had the prefix menu as well which comes with appetizers, entree and a dessert. They even made vegetarian option as Green chilli Paneer for my veg friend when requested. Great portions. I definitely recommend this place!
Nice food, very attentive service. Paneer makhani was too sweet for my taste but everything else was great! Nice ambiance too. Also very accommodating for my cashew allergy.
We tried the Malai Kabob in Appetizer and had the Daal,Chicken korma and Paneer Makhani in the main dish Portions were good and the food was very tasty Definitely recommend this place is you in the Williamsburg /Brooklyn area
A hidden gem with bold flavors and warm hospitality. This small, cozy restaurant has a relaxed vibe, made vibrant by traditional Indian décor that adds colorful touches throughout the space. The service was excellent—friendly and incredibly fast. We were welcomed with refreshments the moment we sat down and treated to complimentary poppers served with two flavorful chutneys: mint and tamarind. To start, we had the veggie-stuffed samosas. The portion includes two generously sized samosas, crispy on the outside and packed with seasoned vegetables on the inside, paired with green and tamarind chutney. For our mains, we ordered the chicken tikka masala and a hearty paneer dish mixed with chickpeas and potatoes in a rich masala gravy. Each came with a side of fragrant basmati rice. We also added roti and garlic naan. Overall, we really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. A great spot if you’re craving flavorful Indian cuisine in a welcoming setting.
All I can say is wow! I used to live in the neighborhood and now when I go back I always have to stop in and order some food to take home. This time I got the garlic naan, lamb saag, lamb korma, mango lassi and wish I ordered more because it’s so good! Everyone is so kind in there too!
The waiters were on point every time they saw our water low. They came to promptly refill it. The food was very flavorful and delicious. However, my vegetable vindaloo was extremely spicy and they had warned me beforehand, but I thought I would be able to handle it. Well I couldn’t. They kept asking me is everything OK when they saw me struggling to eat it. They were nice enough to offer me a different dish free of charge. They also have a lunch special menu that comes with a dish, a side of rice and soup. I would definitely recommend coming to this place.
In the mood for vegetarian?? Then Atithi is a must-visit! Have been meaning to come here since last year & finally made the trip! The chaats were blasts of flavour activating all 5 senses! The warm onion kulcha with the Paneer Bhatti masala was a dhaba like experience. The Bhature we ate as an accompaniment as my Mom couldn't eat Choley! The pillowy bread didn't disappoint! Finished the meal with halwa and Kulfi Falooda! For drinks we chose the masala sodas, which was refreshing and detoxifying thru the rich meal! The service was friendly & warm! Kudos to Deepak who makes the time to visit every table suggesting meals & specialties!
